really?! did i get it right then? i watch it sometimes, but as i said above, i don't really understand it. are there many Turkish sumotori? there's some pretty big Turks out there, i know.
the hand print is a common way sumotori "sign" for themselves. the kanji is likely not really approrpiate, however; i think its part of a "year of the tiger" thing, . . . but is just a resource i have available; the handprint is usually accompanied by their name in kanji (i don't really know how to use kanji . . . hope i don't piss someone off )
when i created this background, it reminded me of a sumo arena, so that's where the idea came from. not really satisfied w/it . . . but, i'm new at this and my skills are limited right now.
No problem, our art is like our lives. We start off crawling and when we get the hang of it we are, all of a sudden, running! Then thud we get a critique or two and we learn to mature.
Sometimes I think I am the young teen that believes they have tiger by tail. Especially after I get to a certain milestone, yet I find myself at other times to be on the mature end. I think these stages can be recurring for me, yet they are good for me.
Very beautiful work
just found that one
Thank you I will keep it
We don't have sumo in Turkey
I only watch them from tv
